Multi-Day Fly Fishing & Camping Trips

Why Multi-Day Trips Are Different

A day trip is a great way to catch fish. A multi-day trip is a great way to disappear for a while. We set up camp on private sections of river in national forest land that most anglers will never see. You wake up to the sound of water twenty feet from your tent. Coffee’s on the fire, breakfast follows, and you’re rigged and casting before anyone else is on the water. You fish all day with your guide, come back to camp, and we cook dinner. No driving, no phone service, no planning. Just fishing.

What We Offer

Some customers come back every year. A few bring their kids now. It’s the kind of trip you remember.

Guided Overnight Camping & Hiking

Not all our multi-day trips are fishing trips. We also run guided overnight hiking trips in the same national forest, with optional fly fishing add-ons. Great for groups with mixed interests or anyone who wants to see waterfalls, old-growth forest, and remote creek valleys on foot.

Where We Camp & Fish

Our primary camping waters include the Upper South Fork Holston River in Virginia and several creek systems in the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area. We also run camping trips on sections of Whitetop Laurel Creek and Laurel Creek. These are wild trout waters with brook, rainbow, and brown trout in some of the most remote, beautiful country in the Southern Appalachians.

Every trip is site-specific and based on water conditions, season, and what you want to catch. We’ll work that out during the planning call.

Trip Details & Policies

Deposit
Multi-day trips require a 50% non-refundable deposit at booking to hold your dates and begin planning.
We fish rain or shine. Most trout fishing is better in overcast or light rain conditions. If conditions become unsafe (severe storms, flash flood risk, dangerous high water), we reschedule at no charge.
Campsite access involves short hikes and uneven terrain. Wading in moving water is part of most trips. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, mention it during the planning call and we’ll configure a trip that works.
The deposit becomes fully non-refundable within 7 days of your trip. Cancel outside the 7-day window and we’ll hold your deposit toward a rescheduled trip within one year.
Most multi-day trips run best with 2 to 6 anglers. We can accommodate larger groups with advance planning and additional guides.
Required in whatever state we’re fishing. We’ll walk you through how to get one.
